VELLURA PRODUCT LEGAL NOTICE & DISCLAIMERS

1. PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION & DISCLAIMER

Vellura beauty devices (including the Vellura Lumi 7-Colour LED Light Therapy Mask, Vellura Sculpt Microcurrent Neck & Jaw Wand, and Vellura Revive Heated Under-Eye Wand) are classified as cosmetic beauty devices for at-home personal use. They are NOT medical devices.

These products do not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, prevent, or manage any disease, medical condition, or health problem. They are intended solely to enhance the appearance of skin and provide a cosmetic benefit.

If you have specific medical concerns or skin conditions, consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional before using any Vellura product.

2. RESULTS DISCLAIMER

Results vary significantly from person to person and are not guaranteed. Individual results depend on factors including but not limited to:
- Age and skin type
- Genetics and skin elasticity
- Frequency and consistency of use
- Overall skincare routine and lifestyle
- Diet, hydration, and sun exposure
- Underlying skin conditions

Results are not permanent. Continued use is required to maintain appearance improvements. Discontinuing use may result in a gradual return to your baseline appearance. Before/after imagery used in marketing is for illustrative purposes and does not represent guaranteed outcomes for all users.

3. HEALTH & SAFETY WARNINGS

DO NOT USE if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding (unless cleared by your healthcare provider)
- Have a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, or other metallic implants in your face/neck area
- Have photosensitivity or history of light-triggered seizures
- Are taking photosensitizing medications (e.g., certain antibiotics, NSAIDs, retinoids)
- Have active skin infections, open wounds, or severe dermatitis in the treatment area
- Are using isotretinoin (Accutane) or have used it within 6 months
- Have a history of keloid formation or abnormal scar tissue
- Are under 18 years of age (without parental consent and supervision)

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS (rare):
- Mild redness or flushing
- Slight irritation or sensitivity
- Temporary dryness
- Eye discomfort if LED light directly contacts eyes
- Heat sensitivity in isolated cases

If you experience persistent discomfort, rash, or adverse reactions, discontinue use immediately and consult a dermatologist.

4. USAGE GUIDELINES

- Use only on clean, dry skin
- Do not exceed the recommended treatment time (typically 10 minutes per session)
- Do not use more than recommended frequency (refer to product-specific instructions)
- Avoid direct eye contact with LED lights
- Do not use on broken or severely compromised skin
- Keep the device and any electrical components away from water unless waterproof rating is explicitly stated
- Charge device only with the supplied USB-C cable and charger
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

5. ALLERGIES & SENSITIVITIES

While Vellura devices contain no known allergens, individual sensitivities vary. If you have sensitive skin or a history of dermatological conditions, perform a patch test on a small area before full facial use. Discontinue use if irritation develops.

6. PHOTOTYPE & SKIN TONE CONSIDERATIONS

Light therapy devices have been studied extensively across different skin tones and phototypes. However, effectiveness and comfort may vary based on individual melanin levels and skin characteristics. If you have darker skin tones, you may experience different visible results or heat sensation. Start with shorter treatment times (3-5 minutes) and increase gradually. Consult a dermatologist familiar with your skin type if you have concerns.

7. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW COMPLIANCE

Vellura products comply with applicable Australian Consumer Law and ACCC guidelines. We make no claims that these products are therapeutic goods as defined by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). All marketing materials are aspirational representations and do not constitute medical claims or promises of specific health outcomes.

If you believe a Vellura product makes unauthorised therapeutic claims or breaches Australian Consumer Law, please contact us at will@wemonetise.com.au with details. You may also lodge a complaint with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au.

8. LIABILITY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, Vellura (ABN 20 272 967 328) excludes all warranties, representations, and liabilities related to the use of our products, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for purpose or merchantability
- Results, outcomes, or appearance improvements
- Any injury, adverse reaction, or damage arising from product use
- Loss of data or device malfunction
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You acknowledge that you use Vellura products entirely at your own risk. By purchasing and using these products, you waive any right to pursue claims against Vellura for cosmetic or health-related outcomes, adverse reactions, or device malfunction, except as expressly required by Australian Consumer Law.

9. WARRANTY & RETURNS

Vellura devices come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty covers mechanical and electrical failures only and does not cover:
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, or colour fading
- User misuse, neglect, or non-compliance with care instructions
- Water damage (unless the device is rated waterproof)
- Damage from unauthorised repair or modification
- Battery degradation after 12 months (normal wear)
